The Lew Stone Band made uncredited appearances in Herbert Wilcox's 1933 film of Bitter Sweet, based on the play by Noel Coward. Ernest Ritte is the saxophone player in the centre of the frame, seen talking to another musician at the start of the number. He was 29.
